The frequency of visits for home-based care services is determined on a patient-by-patient basis and will vary according to their unique care plan. At Exceptional Care for Autism, we ensure that the frequency of visits is adjusted to meet the evolving needs of each patient, providing the right level of care when and where it is needed most.

The company offers the following personal care services:

Bathing, grooming, using the toilet, and dressing

Meal planning and preparation

Light housekeeping, laundry, and running errands

Medication reminders and picking up prescriptions

Escorts to appointments or meetings, help with activities or hobbies, and general companionship

  • Wound care for sores or a surgical wound
  • Patient Education
  • Nutrition therapy
  • Injections
  • Monitoring serious illness and unstable health status

They both are similar in many ways but are not the same. Let’s look at their similarities and differences for a better understanding.

Similarities:

  • Extraordinary care and decreased stress
  • Offer both physical and psychological relief from serious illnesses
  • It can be treated whenever a patient call

Differences:

 

Palliative Care

  • Paid by Medicare or commercial insurance
  • Can be treated at any stage of the illness
  • Includes curative treatment

Hospice Care

  • Paid by Medicare or commercial insurance
  • 6 months or less Prognosis
  • Excludes curative treatment
